Airplane

Baby Taz did so well on our trip to and from Dallas.

This was his very first time on a plane.

Jon's parents joined us for Thanksgiving this year. Taz really enjoyed

some fun new toys and a brand new box.

I made a bit of a mess getting ready for dinner this year. I used too small

of a bowl while whipping egg whites for pumpkin chiffon pie.

The bowl got too full and the mixer sent the egg white all over the kitchen.

Baby's First Camping Trip

On our very first camping trip we ended up getting a little cabin for the night, since we had managed to bring the tent without the tent poles. Taz slept on his own little bunk bed. When we woke up in the morning it was pouring rain. We took our time, had breakfast and by the time we were ready to hike it had mostly cleared up. We went on a couple nice hikes. Taz was such a trooper. He contentedly looked around and slept most of the time.

Haws Family Reunion

My Little Dinosaur

We found a great costume for Taz for Halloween. It kept him

nice and warm in the cold whether. We walked around the

neighborhood and trick-or-treated.

Taz wants to crawl so badly, but he just can't seem to

move anywhere but backward!

Pumpkin Patch

We had a great day at Tanner's apple orchard. They had a pumpkin patch

where we took a lot of pictures. Taz got to see a goat up close. We did some

Christmas shopping and tried some pumpkin flavored donuts. We also

bought some apple cider. It was really hard to position Taz for the photos

we took, he is still pretty shaky on his feet.

Trip to the Hospital

On September 18th,2011, we took Taz into the hospital for his final surgery - a colostomy reversal. The surgery was delayed for a while and Taz wasn't allowed to have anything to eat. We found a little push car and strapped Taz in. We thought he might be a little small for it, but he loved it. We drove him around in his little car for a long time while he chewed on the steering wheel. Eventually Taz went in to surgery. Jon and I were both tired and anxious for all the surgeries to be over. Soon enough he was sent to he PACU. Unfortunately his PICC line came out and they had to re-insert it there. When I finally got to see him he was asleep, exhausted after having the IV put back in. Taz had a really rough day. He wasn't allowed to eat until the next morning, and the only thing ordered for pain was tylenol, after we asked for it. Soon enough he started to seem back to himself. We gladly took him back home and started to adjust to changing pooping diapers.
